OUR PURPOSE

The objects and purposes of the Association are:

(a) To conduct an annual eisteddfod in Alice Springs.

(b) To encourage talent within the community by providing opportunity for assessment and development and a platform for building confidence.

(c) To promote the creative and performing arts and to nurture awareness and appreciation of these.

The Centralian Eisteddfod Council encourages talent within our community. The eisteddfod is a platform for growing confidence and we provide informed, constructive feedback. Our Eisteddfod is designed to encourage participation, to inspire and to recognise excellence and to present new challenges each year. Council believes that this will promote the creative and performing arts, nurturing awareness and appreciation.
